When Viktoriya of The Hanging Gardens and I were dreaming up this shoot we knew we wanted it to be photographed at The Virginia House in Richmond. This romantic English Tudor manor house was relocated from England to Richmond in 1925. With the sandstone walls and lush surrounding gardens, we knew this was the perfect backdrop to an old English love story. The story came to life with a picnic underneath the Magnolias on the hillside of the back lawn. Jordan Cotton's custom-designed wedding invitation and paper goods were the ultimate aesthetic of sentiment with beautiful illustrations and clean lines. A relaxing lunch and an evening of soft light, blush flowers, and a gentle breeze is what wedding daydreams are made of for any bride.
