Album design Process

The Album Making Process Explained

Albums are a great way to showcase your wedding day to family and friends with a beautifully curated set of images that tell the complete story of your day. We capture your day through our lens and tell a story in each frame. A wedding album is the perfect way to look back and remember your day. Common album size and spread count would be a 9x12 album which allows breathing room for each image and contains 50 spreads which is 100 pages. We cary these album types and sizes:10x10 Square Album, 9x12 & 11x14 Portrait Albums 8x10 Matted Folio Album. The folio albums can have up to fourteen mats. All other albums can have up to 100 spreads (200 pages).

To keep this process seamless and enjoyable to our couples we asked them to select around 30 of their favorite images for the album a week after receiving the complete online wedding gallery. We will then tastefully add those favorites to the wedding album. This process allows couples to have their favorite images of the day in the album and allows us to design the album with additional complimentary images from the day. This is a part of the complete experience of our story telling process. With our eye for symmetry and balance we are able to layout each spread to tell the best story of our couples day. Let us know if you have any questions and we are happy to answer them.

deboss Designes Explained

Each album can have a title deboss on the cover. These are examples of debossing die sizes on our Heirloom Albums. There are two sizes for debossing a 4x2 inch and a 7x3 inch. It depends on the custom die and how it will look in comparison to the album size you choose. A 9x12 album with Angela Elise Photography is pictured below for some examples. The debossing can be done in gold, silver, rose gold or a blind deboss.

*Note: The sizing of these examples are in proportion for album size to die ratio and they are not life size on your screen.
